It seems like I have been fishing all my life.  I grew up in a small town on the Kentucky Lake in Tennessee.  My Dad took me fishing for Bass and Crappie every chance he had.  When he couldn't take me, I would fish in the creek close to the house.  I always had a rod and reel hidden under the bridge, so I could fish on the way home from school.

In 1958, we moved to Arizona and I started fishing Roosevelt Lake, Apache Lake, and San Carlos Lake.

Over the past 30 years I have been very successful as a tournament fisherman.  I have fished championships at Truman Lake, Mo.; Tom Bigby Waterway, Columbus, Miss.; Kentucky Lake, TN; and all over Arizona.  In 1994, my partner Jack Lewis and I won the AllStar Super Team Championship. We won a 20 ft. fully rigged bass boat.

In 2002, I started Bass N' Crappie Guide Service and became a licensed guide for Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, and Crappie.

I still fish tournaments, mostly team tournaments, and am presently on the Pro Staff for Tracker Marine Boating Center at Bass Pro Shops in Mesa, AZ.  I do Crappie Seminars there when my schedule allows, as well as boat shows.  I am also on the Nitro State Team and Mercury Pro Staff.

I do seminars for schools, Bass Clubs, and scout troops.

Over the years, there have been articles published on me in Outdoor Almanac; Arizona Hunter and Angler Magazine; Arizona Boating and Watersports; Arizona Republic Newspaper; Kingman, AZ Newspaper; Crappie World Magazine; and an on line article at FieldandStream.com.

I am retired, and am blessed to be able to do what I truly love now - FISH!
